In his presentation he will focus on patient participation in ‘Evaluation of Care-research’, clinical evaluation studies on the effectiveness of existing care. This is more than just conducting a comparative study. It is a process with a number of important components such as creating a supported knowledge agenda as a first step, according to a fixed high-quality methodology. Crucial parts of this methodology are the inventory of knowledge gaps together with patient representatives and the joint prioritization of the research subjects in a meeting.
