About

The X-omics research infrastructure enables researchers to use an integrated approach to solve biomedical problems. All researchers have access to the X-omics helpdesk for assistance and advice during this process.

Researchers can contact the X-omics helpdesk for:

  • Research questions: expert assistance to help design a X-omics experiment, choosing a X-omics approach; experimental design;
  • Outsourcing questions: analyses of samples in one of the facilities.
  • Technical questions: assistance with sample preparation and protocols.

The main areas of expertise and facilities that are part of the X-omics research infrastructure:

  • Genomics: Guidance and execution of sequencing based research experiments.
  • Proteomics: Quantification of cellular proteome, phosphoproteome, and protein complexes.
  • Metabolomics: State-of-the-art metabolomics, lipidomics and inborn errors of metabolism.
  • Data analysis, integration & stewardship: Integration of X-omics data, FAIRification of -omics data, reproducible data analysis and workflow management.

An overview of all equipment and services offered can be found in the X-omics brochure.

The helpdesk assistant ‘Crossy’ will refer you to the facility you need and help you to contact X-omics experts
