Health-RI organises a second round of the FAIR Data Stewards Basics course

Did you recently start a job as a data steward at one of the Health-RI nodes or their regional partners? Or have you been performing data stewardship tasks in the medical field for some time already but need a refresher on the FAIR principles and how to apply them in practice? Health-RI organises a second round of its introductory course to FAIR data stewardship in the health domain! 

The course will introduce you to the basics of research data management and FAIR data stewardship in the health domain. The different tasks areas of data stewards will be discussed and you will hear the perspective from a research funder on FAIR. The course touches upon technologies that ease the process of creating and maintaining FAIR research data. There will be presentations of projects that have successfully implemented FAIR data stewardship. Knowledge can be put into practice in hands- on sessions. You will define your own learning goals and draft a plan to increase awareness on FAIR in your institution.

  • Day 1, 5 June 2024, 10.00 - 17.00 
  • Day 2, 6 June 2024, 10.00 - 17.00 
  • Day 3, 13 June 2024, 10.00 - 17.00 

Location: Utrecht, Beatrixgebouw (near Central Station) 

Course description and programme 

Registration & Certification 

Maximum number of participants: 20. No registration fee, but participants from Health-RI partners have priority access. You can register via the registration form.   

Participants register for the full programme and attend all three course days. Only those who attended the full course receive a certificate of attendance.
