First round of Essentials 4 Data Support 2025 open for registration
The Essentials 4 Data Support course offers an introduction on beginner level for data professionals and those who support researchers in storing, managing, archiving and sharing their research data.
The course consists of two days of face to face teaching, complemented by online learning materials and weekly assignments. You will receive a certificate upon successful completion of all of these components.
The in person teaching sessions will take place on Thursday 6th February 2025 (DANS, Den Haag) and Tuesday 18th March 2025 (SURF, Utrecht). The teaching will be in English.

RDNL organises three rounds of “Essentials” every year, two in English and one in Dutch. A training round usually covers a period of about 6 weeks. On the RDNL website you will also find information about self-paced learning on our online course platform.
