We believe that open communication is the key to successful collaboration. Health-RI is transparent about all activities within the organization and communicates about them through our website, internal and external newsletters, and social media channels. Health-RI strives for a transparent organizational culture where everyone feels heard and valued.

Health-RI has an ambitious mission: building a (inter)national integrated research infrastructure for health data, accessible to researchers, citizens, and healthcare providers. This mission requires ambitious goals. Health-RI doesn’t just talk about achieving these goals; we actively work toward them. We do this by setting clear KPIs, encouraging each other during internal show-and-tell sessions, and maintaining focus with thematic annual plans.

Social responsibility is second nature to Health-RI. In all our daily actions and decisions, we have one goal in mind: improving the health of citizens and patients by reusing health data.

Health-RI strives for a diverse and inclusive work environment where everyone is respected, valued, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Inclusivity means we handle the diversity mix as effectively as possible — the different types of differences we may experience together. These include visible differences (skin color, gender, age) and invisible ones (gender identity, religion, culture, personality, beliefs, politics, etc.). Diversity encompasses the mix of differences among people: demographics (age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, culture), physical abilities, as well as variations in personality, education levels, fields of expertise, organizational culture, and more. In short, diversity includes all differences between people.
