Projects, programs, and collaborations

Together with many partners, Health-RI is building a national health data infrastructure that supports the secondary use of health data, thereby contributing to data-driven research, policymaking, and innovation for better health outcomes.

The implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) regulation in March 2029 is expected to accelerate the secondary use of health data. Reusing health data will become a right, while sharing data will become an obligation.

In collaboration with partners from across the healthcare and research ecosystem, Health-RI is developing the services and products that are essential to making this possible.

At Health-RI, we strongly believe in the power of collaboration. We bring together all relevant stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, patient organizations, researchers, and industry partners. Only by building a shared vision and approach can we establish the necessary agreements and develop the health data infrastructure that is needed.

Through this collaborative approach, we ensure that the needs and perspectives of all stakeholders are taken into account, and that the agreements and infrastructure developed are aligned with the real needs and challenges of healthcare.
