Report by Health-RI and Nictiz will help to provide tools to improve the accessibility of health data for Artificial Intelligence.

Health-RI and Nictiz published the report 'Towards a Health data infrastructure and set of agreements’ The report was commissioned by the Netherlands Artificial Intelligence Coalition (NL-AIC) and drawn up with the support of AI-experts and a literature review. The advisory report will help identify quick wins to overcome the barriers that health care organizations experience and will be used to develop a roadmap for improving the accessibility of data for secure ArtificiaI Intelligence. The information is aimed at advisors, policy makers and AI developers.

The NL AIC has previously stated that in order to develop Artificial Intelligence in Dutch health care, personal medical (big data) should be available and accessible. It requires an infrastructure and agreements to ensure that both private and public parties have safe, responsible, efficient and effective access to medical data.
