Archiving data
Scientific data archiving refers to the long-term storage of scientific data and methods. The FAIR Principles recommend archiving research data in a trusted and secure environment at your UMC or at an external data service or domain repository.
This seventh section of HANDS provides guidelines for the long-term preservation of your data. It explains:
- what you should archive and for how long;
- where to archive: at your UMC or elsewhere.
