Evaluation of Biobank Collections
Project overview
To ensure the long-term continuity of biobank collections, it is important that a balance is found between financial, social and operational aspects. Regularly evaluating collections is necessary to ensure that they remain future-proof and maintain their value to science. The aim of the project is to develop a national guideline for the evaluation of biobank collections that research institutions can use to develop and implement local policy so that informed decisions can be made about retaining, transferring or terminating biobank collections.
