RDNL course for data professionals supporting researchers in handling privacy-sensitive data
This autumn, Research Data Netherlands (RDNL) organises a course for data professionals who support researchers in dealing with privacy-sensitive data.
GDPR 4 Data Support is a course that highlights all the concepts around the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, AVG in Dutch) and the steps you can take in the different phases of scientific research to protect personal data. The course is intended for those who (will) support researchers in managing personal data responsibly in their research. It helps research data professionals play a connecting role between researchers and privacy professionals such as privacy officers.
Two rounds of GDPR4DS are organised every year, one in English and one in Dutch. A training round spans about 3 weeks. The course consists of two physical course days, supplemented by assignments and online content. If you successfully complete all parts, you will receive a certificate.
The next round will be in English. The physical meetings will take place on Thursday 7 November (at DANS, The Hague) and on Tuesday 10 December 2024 (at DANS, The Hague). For more information and registration, visit the RDNL website.
