Register now for the Health-RI Conference: Turning Data into Action
On Thursday, 29 October 2026, the 11th edition of the annual Health-RI Conference will take place at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
This year, the conference revolves around one central question:
How will you take action to advance secondary health data re-use?
With the theme Turning Data into Action, the Health-RI Conference brings together professionals from the health and life sciences sectors who are working to strengthen the health data infrastructure for research, policy, and innovation.
The transition towards responsible and scalable secondary use of health data is already well underway. The upcoming European Health Data Space (EHDS) is accelerating this development, highlighting the need for organisations to prepare for new responsibilities, processes, and forms of collaboration around health data. As a connector, expert, and trusted guide, Health-RI brings together national, regional, and European developments, supporting organisations throughout this transition.
During the conference, you will discover what these developments mean for your role and organisation. Expect real-world case studies, interactive sessions, and fresh insights into data availability, interoperability, research, AI, and the secondary use of health data within the context of the EHDS.
The programme includes contributions from patients, who will share what is at stake when health data is not available for research, and Jan Anthonie Bruijn, who will highlight the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing today's healthcare challenges. Hosted by Eva Eikhout, the conference will feature engaging discussions and thought-provoking questions that help turn complex issues into practical action.
Join us in taking action towards a future-proof health data ecosystem.
