Would you like to contribute to promoting digital competences in the health and life sciences domain? Are you the spider in the web who connects initiatives and people and can move new project ideas forward? Do you have knowledge of FAIR and data-driven health and life sciences research? Health-RI has a vacancy for a project coordinator and community coordinator for the Thematic Digital Competence Centre Life Sciences & Health (TDCC-LSH).

About Health-RI
Health-RI realises a health data infrastructure for research, policy and innovation in the Netherlands. Availability and reuse of health data are important to enable researchers, healthcare professionals and also companies to work better and faster in a data-driven way. Health-RI does not do this alone. Health-RI works together with many stakeholders, ranging from citizens and patients, (academic) hospitals to umbrella organisations, governments and industry. We work together with these stakeholders in various projects to realise the health data infrastructure. Thus, together with all stakeholders in the health data ecosystem, we contribute to improving the health of all Dutch citizens.

We are working to enable a learning healthcare system by promoting FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data principles. As a national coordination centre, we promote cooperation between stakeholders in the health and life sciences ecosystem. We support researchers and participate in international initiatives to ensure global interoperability.

Health-RI has received a €69 million grant from the National Growth Fund in 2021 to realise these ambitions in the coming years, with the aim of sustainably setting up and funding the health data infrastructure in the Netherlands.  We also receive funding from NWO as part of the Implementation Plan Investments Digital Research Infrastructure and the Open Science NL work programme.

Core values  of Health-RI are transparent, ambitious, result-oriented, socially engaged, collegial and inclusive.
