Together with research institutions, the theme Biobanks & Collections hosts projects that contribute to the development of a national health data infrastructure (Health-RI) and to biobank collaboration within Europe (BBMRI).
Biobanks & Collections is driving initiatives that strengthen the Dutch biobanking community through key projects aimed at standardization and collaboration. These projects focus on improving the findability, accessibility, and comparability of biobank data, ensuring a robust infrastructure for research and innovation.
Through these initiatives, we provide the community with standardized procedures, process descriptions, templates, and expert guidance to support the creation, expansion, and optimization of biobanks and collections.
